DrPrice

I believe that providing superior patient education and creating appropriate patient expectations are key components in the care and treatment of my patients. I work closely with referring physicians and ancillary services, such as physical therapy, to ensure a seamless treatment program for my patients.

Dr. Scott Price was born and raised in New York City. He attended Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York and received fellowship awards for Biological as well as for Medical Studies. He then attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City before completing his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at the Montefiore Medical Center. He completed a year of chief residency before moving to Cincinnati for a year of fellowship training in sports medicine and adult joint reconstruction at the prestigious Cincinnati Sports Medicine Institute under the tutelage of Dr. Frank Noyes.

Dr. Price served as one of the team physicians for the Chicago White Sox from 1987 until 2003 and was the head physician for the Major League Baseball All-Star game in 2003. He also has been the tournament physician for the women’s professional tennis events in Chicago, including the Virginia Slims and Ameritech Cup tournaments sponsored by the WTA.

Today, Dr. Price continues to care for athletes on many levels. He currently serves as the team physician for Amos Alanzo Stagg High School, and treats many young athletes in the community.

When it comes to Workers’ Compensation, Dr. Price knows that early diagnosis and treatment are keys to returning an injured worker to the job as quickly as possible–minimizing medical costs and time lost from work. For 25 years he has worked closely with patients, employers and insurance carriers to develop appropriate work restrictions and light-duty assignments.
